"Fine wine lovers need not concern themselves with the conundrum of matching supply and demand in the mass market but they would be fools to ignore what the smaller domaines of the south of France have to offer. This is France's hidden treasure - handcrafted wines from an ideal Mediterranean climate but at bargain prices" Jancis Robinson, Financial Times, "Food and Drink" September 22nd 2007.
We are keen to share our vineyard and sustainable viticulture with likeminded enthusiasts, including those who would like to join us for the picking during the vendange. And, we would like to invite you to come and visit the vineyard and taste the wines amongst the vine or stay with us in our Gîte.

High on the hillside, there are views of the distant Mediterranean, the Pyrenees and the Black Mountains. The surrounding area provides a stunning backdrop for budding artists, or long rambling walks! Our vines are surrounded by rugged limestone hills, “garrigue”, wild herbs, and many natural flora & fauna, It is a 10 minute car drive to St Chinian which has most facilities including the usual shops, 2 supermarkets, cafés & restaurants, Maison du vin and banks, … and from St Chinian it is 35 minutes to the major city centres of Béziers or Narbonne.
Local activities include horse riding, canoeing, fishing on the Aude, walking, or visiting our neighbours in a lovely goat farm at the bottom of the valley in Combebelle where you can sample some truly delicious award-winning cheeses. Many of the regions major tourist attractions are nearby, including Oppidum d'Enserume , Canal du Midi, Minerve, Pézenas, Narbonne, Béziers and Carcassonne or you can simply enjoy the local markets - St Chinian has a local market every Thursday & Sunday morning where you can buy wonderful grown locally fresh produce. After shopping / browsing the market, why not enjoy a "petite pression & shot of coffee" with the locals!
There are some excellent local restaurants close by serving a variety of local dishes and wines such as La Croisade in Cruzy and L'Olivier in Cabezac. A local taxi service is on hand to take you to/from the restaurant so that you do not have to worry about "drink/driving"!
