Jancis Robsinson's Purple Pages - 10/07/09
"Catherine Wallace is one of those brave Englishwomen who abandoned suburban living and sensible jobs with the likes of Lay & Wheeler, Majestic and Adnams for a chateau in the south of France, and winemaking. She follows organic practices and produces only red and rosé wine with a tiny team of three people, however, Catherine is so full of life and energy that one suspects that she could do it all herself if she only had enough hours in the day. Apparently she plays opera to her wines while she is making them. One can imagine that is probably true! - Tamlyn Currin"
