She follows organic practices and produces only red and rosé wine with a tiny team of three people, however, Catherine is so full of life and energy that one suspects that she could do it all herself if she only had enough hours in the day. "Saint-Chinian, Chateau de Combebelle 2006 Saint-Chinian won AC status in 1982, although the village itself was created in the ninth century by Benedictine monks who also planted the first vines. This modern-day offering has expressive spicy, dark fruits and hints of game. The palate is well structured with ripe tannins, firm acidity and good depth of fruit. Château de Combebelle AOC St Chinian Rosé 2007 has been awarded a BRONZE (Signature Bio). We are delighted to be building upon the success of our first wine and will continue to improve on the quality. |
